SAGG NAPOLI

SAGG NAPOLI (b. 1991, Naples, Italy) is a multidisciplinary artist whose works include performance, video, sculpture, installation and sound art. While championing her #SouthAesthetics, the artist devotes her practice to cross-examining gender politics, the economy, along with portrayals of class and ethnicity in high and popular culture. In spring 2020 SAGG NAPOLI embarked on her journey to become a competitive archer and embraced the discipline in both athletic and artistic terms. SAGG NAPOLI’s work has been shown in solo exhibitions at: Galerie Champ Lacombe, Biarritz (2022); Import Export Gallery, Warsaw (2021); Museum of Modern Art Warsaw, Warsaw (2018); Like a little Disaster, Polignano a Mare (2018); Jupiter Woods, London (2017). Group exhibitions include: Zaza’, Naples (2023); Vistamare, Milan (2023); Basel Social Club, Basel (2022); Glasgow International, Glasgow (2020); Société, Berlin (2019); Sophie Tappeiner, Wien (2019), to name a few.
